TScientific announced on the 22nd that the lawsuit filed by minority shareholders seeking permission to convene an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders has been withdrawn. This marks the conclusion of the lawsuit that began on September 20th after about three months.
A company representative stated, “At the extraordinary general meeting held on the 4th, there were disagreements between the company management and the minority shareholders regarding the agenda items, but through continued dialogue, we ultimately confirmed that both parties share the same goal of maximizing the company’s corporate value and proceeded with positive negotiations.”
They also added, “During this process, the minority shareholders expressed their intention to withdraw the lawsuit so that the company can focus its capabilities on the business and enhance shareholder rights, and the company management also expressed their willingness to actively listen to and accept the opinions of shareholders deemed necessary for the company’s development.”
The company stated that it plans to pursue talent acquisition, technology enhancement, and advancement of its proprietary solutions to continuously expand and grow its core security business. Additionally, it is reorganizing its efforts to pioneer new businesses in the blockchain and Web3 sectors, which had been led by Hanbitco.
In particular, Hanbitco is showing strong determination to retry its real-name account service, and to this end, it is accelerating system improvements for the service in line with the strengthened regulatory environment, as well as legal responses to the FIU’s rejection decision.
Furthermore, by designating new businesses related to NFTs and STOs based on blockchain technology as important future growth strategies, the company announced that it will actively utilize the expertise of professionals proposed by minority shareholders and invest in companies with technological capabilities and infrastructure to create business synergies, focusing on maximizing corporate value.
