T'way Air Resumes Busan-Vientiane, Laos Route Operations

T'way Air had operated the Busan-Vientiane route as a regular service in early 2020 but suspended it due to COVID-19. With this resumption, T'way Air plans to expand its international flights departing from Gimhae Airport and enhance travel convenience for travelers in the Busan region.

Vientiane is the capital of Laos. It has many historical and cultural sites, including architecture and Buddhist temples from the period of French colonial rule. It is a major tourist city in Laos where visitors can enjoy various activities such as waterfall swimming, the Blue Lagoon, and golf.

Following the existing Busan-Osaka route, T'way Air has added the Busan-Vientiane route. This is part of a strategy to accelerate the expansion of international routes departing from Gimhae Airport.

A T'way Air official said, "We are pleased to improve international flight accessibility for travelers in the Busan region with the Vientiane route departing from Busan," and added, "We highly recommend spending a relaxing time enjoying the unspoiled nature in Laos."
