Asiana Airlines Hosts Youth Career Concert After 4 Years

Special Lecture at the National Aviation Museum

Asiana Airlines announced on the 21st that it held the tenth Dream Festival for teenagers. This event, held at the National Aviation Museum in Gangseo, Seoul, was the 4000th special lecture of the ‘Saekdong Narae Classroom’ (career lecture). About 100 people attended, including students from aviation high schools, students interested in aviation careers, and children of Asiana Airlines employees.


The Dream Festival is a career event that has combined career lectures with cultural and artistic performances since 2013. The Asiana Airlines Education Donation Volunteer Group has provided aviation-related career exploration opportunities to a total of 350,000 middle and high school students nationwide through career lectures delivered directly to schools since 2013.

Meanwhile, on the morning of the event, Asiana Airlines signed an agreement with the National Aviation Museum to cooperate in operating education donation programs. The signing ceremony was attended by Won Yu-seok, CEO of Asiana Airlines, and Ahn Tae-hyun, director of the National Aviation Museum. They agreed to expand mutual cooperation regarding the planning and operation of education donation programs and the provision of educational spaces.


At the event, Asiana Airlines CEO Won Yu-seok said in his welcoming speech, “This event is more meaningful as it resumed after four years, overcoming the difficulties of COVID-19,” and added, “I sincerely hope that you will achieve your dreams and grow into future aviation talents, no matter what challenges you face.”


Ahn Tae-hyun, director of the National Aviation Museum, said, “In line with the museum’s goal of being the place where the highest dreams are met the closest, we will closely cooperate with Asiana Airlines so that teenagers with dreams about the sky can achieve their dreams.”
