On the 21st, Gyeongbok University announced that it recently signed a business agreement with TechDNA Co., Ltd., a big data research information company, to train experts in intellectual property analysis.
Under this agreement, Gyeongbok University will provide students in the Big Data Department with theoretical knowledge of intellectual property, especially patents, and teach patent data analysis techniques using big data. Additionally, the two institutions agreed to cooperate to enable graduates to work in specialized companies or organizations in this field.
Jo Sang-gu, head of the Big Data Department at Gyeongbok University, stated, "This agreement was promoted to support students in growing into professionals with expertise in intellectual property rights-related fields, as the value of intellectual property is becoming increasingly important in modern industries," and expressed expectations that "it will provide attractive employment opportunities for students."
