[AAA2023] Recommendation Algorithm Rivaling YouTube... Abley Wins Excellent Startup Award

Style commerce platform Abley received the 'Excellent Startup Award' at the '2023 Asia AI Awards' ceremony held on the 20th at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul.

Abley is the first in the fashion platform industry to develop 'AI (artificial intelligence) personalized recommendation technology,' improving the traditional shopping environment where individuals spent a lot of time and effort finding their desired styles. Most other companies use the US-based AWS (Amazon Web Services) for their recommendation algorithms. Abley recruited development experts in machine learning and infrastructure to develop proprietary technology specialized and advanced for style products. It boasts a recommendation algorithm comparable to YouTube, based on 'big data' accumulated from customers' user experiences. As of November, Abley's cumulative number of reviews reached 50 million, and customer preference data (product bookmarks) amounted to 1.2 billion.

Based on AI recommendation technology, Abley is expanding its commerce service areas to fashion, beauty, life, and food sectors, contributing to enhancing the quality of shopping experiences across various categories. Additionally, through the Japanese service 'Amud,' it is promoting Korean style products, AI recommendation technology, and diverse cultures and content beyond the domestic market to the overseas stage.
