Three Sections Including Baenaegol

On the 20th, Ulsan City began snow removal operations from 6 a.m. to reduce citizen inconvenience caused by snowfall in the mountainous areas of Buk-gu and Ulju-gun.

Ulsan City deployed one snow removal vehicle and eight personnel to a 3 km section of the access road to Mauna Resort in Buk-gu, one snow removal vehicle and 15 personnel to a 4 km section covering Baenaegol, Soho Pass, and Unmullyeong in Sangbuk-myeon, Ulju-gun, and one snow removal vehicle and five personnel to a 1 km section in Sangseonpil area, Duseo-myeon, Ulju-gun, spreading a total of 10 tons of calcium chloride.

Additionally, 0.1 tons of de-icing agent was spread around the former Yejeon Interchange on the Dong-gu Bangojin Loop Road at approximately 7:40 a.m. due to road icing.

Ulsan City stated, “We are making significant efforts to maintain a 24-hour situation management system, promptly disseminate disaster information, and respond systematically to sudden winter snowfall.”
