From now on, no separate documents will be required when applying for housing pensions, Bogeumjari loans, or debt adjustments.
The Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF) announced on the 19th that, with the amendment of the Housing Finance Corporation Act related to public data and the introduction of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'Public MyData Service,' customers can now conveniently use housing finance services.
On the 27th, when the amendment to the Korea Housing Finance Corporation Act, which expands the eligibility criteria for housing pension subscription from houses with a current official price of 900 million KRW or less to those up to 1.2 billion KRW, passed the National Assembly's Political Affairs Committee bill subcommittee, a housing pension information notice was posted at the Seoul Jungbu branch of the Korea Housing Finance Corporation in Jung-gu, Seoul. Previously, customers applying for housing finance services had to obtain various documents such as resident registration certificates, health insurance qualification certificates, and income certificates from individual institutions and submit them to HF.
However, from now on, customers can submit the required documents with just one click of 'Request for Third-Party Provision of Personal Information' when processing 18 types of tasks, including applying for the Bogeumjari loan, on the HF website or the Smart Housing Finance application.
This will relieve customers from the hassle of individually obtaining and submitting documents from various administrative agencies, and it is expected to significantly reduce the overall processing procedures and time.
Furthermore, this improvement will also apply not only to customers applying for housing pensions and Bogeumjari loans but also to support programs available to customers whose repayment capacity has weakened while using the Bogeumjari loan (such as principal repayment deferral, debt adjustment, and delay penalty reduction).
In particular, by linking 46 types of administrative information in real time, including income, employment, and social security, the corporation has implemented a rapid administrative system that directly receives the data necessary to verify the applicant's eligibility, which is expected to further enhance the quality of customer service.
President Choi Jun-woo stated, “We will continue to expand the scope of public MyData linkage targets and services so that the public can use housing finance services more conveniently.”
