Hyundai Motor Group has been donating funds annually since 2003. This year, they contributed 35 billion KRW, an increase of 10 billion KRW from last year. The cumulative donation amount reaches 394 billion KRW. The company carries out social contributions divided into three areas: mobility for transportation-vulnerable groups, safety infrastructure development, and eco-friendly and future generation support for a sustainable ecosystem.
Chairman Jung Eui-sun said, "I believe it is an important role of companies to empathize with the pain of many people suffering from the prolonged pandemic and economic downturn and to look forward to hope together. We have donated funds again this year to repay the support and love from the public for Hyundai Motor Group and to practice neighborly love."
