"Kind Ulsan"... Administrative Service Customer Satisfaction Rises This Year

Satisfaction Score 93.5, Up 0.9 Points from Last Year

Employee Awards for Friendly Phone Service and Courtesy Training Provided

Ulsan City has become more courteous.

On the 19th, Ulsan City announced that the 2023 Administrative Service Customer Satisfaction Survey results showed an increase of 0.9 points from 92.6 last year to 93.5 points.

The survey was conducted from May to November through an external research agency, divided into telephone response courtesy (750 people) and satisfaction of customers who completed civil complaints processing (600 complainants).

Telephone response courtesy was evaluated step-by-step including greeting, response, and closing, while customer satisfaction with civil complaint processing was assessed based on five items: complaint guidance, friendliness, fairness, promptness, and overall satisfaction.

The survey results showed that most employees listen attentively to complainants and use polite language with a soft and friendly tone when dealing with them.

However, more proactive responses are needed in areas such as the final closing greeting during phone calls and detailed guidance when transferring to other departments.

The Departments of Marine Fisheries, Welfare Policy, and Fire Administration were selected as outstanding departments, and 49 employees with excellent telephone response courtesy will be awarded Onnuri gift certificates worth 100,000 KRW as prize money.

An official from Ulsan City stated, “We will continuously strive to improve the administrative service mindset toward citizens by linking customer satisfaction surveys with civil servant courtesy training, providing training for areas needing improvement, and encouraging outstanding employees with prizes.”

To enhance employee courtesy, Ulsan City will hold the second half civil servant courtesy training on December 19 at 1:30 PM in the city hall auditorium, inviting Song In-ok, CEO of MCS Business Center, with about 300 employees from the main office and business sites attending.
