Nationwide First Local Government Infant Mental Health Care System 'Eunpyeong I-Mom Counseling Center' Ranks 1st... 3,533 Participants in Online and On-site Voting from the 6th to 14th

Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that the ‘2023 Eunpyeong-gu Top 10 Policies Selected by Residents’ vote chose the ‘Eunpyeong I-mom Counseling Center for Establishing an Infant and Toddler Mental Health Care System’ as the number one policy.

The ‘Eunpyeong I-mom Counseling Center’ is the second installment in the I-mom series following ‘I-mom Taxi.’ It is the first infant and toddler mental health care system in a basic local government nationwide that provides psychological testing and counseling for infants, toddlers, parents, and childcare staff experiencing emotional and psychological difficulties. Through integrated psychological diagnosis linking daycare centers and homes, it identifies the causes of problematic behaviors in young children and offers tailored support.

A total of 3,533 people participated in the vote held from the 6th to the 14th, each selecting 5 out of 20 excellent policies. The results were calculated by combining 70% online votes and 30% on-site votes.

The voting results were as follows: ▲2nd place was ‘Improvement of Public Transportation Convenience (Establishment of Commuter-Only Buses and Airport Buses)’ to alleviate residents’ transportation inconveniences ▲3rd place was ‘Senior Job Project Yongginae! Eunpyeong Tax Station Earth,’ a tax refill project for achieving carbon neutrality ▲4th place was ‘Angbongsan Family Camping Site Creation and Operation,’ the first terrace-style campsite in northwest Seoul.

Following these were ▲5th place ‘Eunpyeong-gu’s Shining SOLO (Eunbit Sol) One-Person Household Life-Closely Care Service’ ▲6th place ‘Daerim Alley Market Arcade’ installation ▲7th place Establishment of a Post-Management System for Preventing Solitary Deaths ▲8th place ‘Cool Summer Heatwave Be Gone #Water Playground Operation’ ▲9th place ‘Eunpyeong-gu Takes Action for Youth Housing Stability!
