Shinjeong-dong Sujeong Apartment Reconstruction Project Gains Momentum, Receives Project Implementation Plan Approval 3 Years After Maintenance Zone Designation... Construction of 3-Basement to 21-Story Residential Complex with Childcare Center, Senior Center, and Community Fitness Facilities... Full-Scale Construction to Begin Next Year Following Management Disposition Plan Approval and Relocation Phase

Yangcheon-gu (Mayor Lee Gi-jae) finalized approval of the 'Project Implementation Plan' related to the reconstruction and maintenance project of Sinjeong-dong Sujeong Apartment on the 18th, after consultations with related organizations and hearing residents' opinions.

With this approval of the project implementation plan, Sujeong Apartment will be redeveloped into a multi-family housing complex (3 buildings) with a total floor area of 42,558.81㎡ and a floor area ratio of 299%. The height will be transformed from the existing 5 floors to a maximum of 21 floors, providing a total of 276 households.

Additionally, to promote residents' hobbies and health, facilities such as ▲senior citizen centers ▲resident exercise facilities ▲daycare centers will be established, and outside, ancillary welfare facilities including ▲eco-friendly community and resting spaces for communication and relaxation will be created.

Nearby, excellent educational environments are available with Geumok Middle School, Baekam High School, and Geumok Girls' High School in close proximity, and the surrounding area is rich in green spaces such as Gyenam Neighborhood Park and Neomeundeul Park, allowing residents to enjoy a pleasant natural environment.

Sinjeong Sujeong Apartment, completed in 1987 at 733-31 Sinjeong-dong, was conditionally judged for reconstruction after receiving a D grade in a detailed safety inspection in 2018. Following designation as a maintenance zone in April 2020, a union was established in January 2021.

With the project implementation plan approved this year, the project is expected to proceed to the management disposition plan approval and relocation stages, leading to full-scale construction.
