Ham Jung-woo Tied 45th... "Regrettable, Double Bogey on Final Hole"

PGA Tour Q Series FR 2 Over Par
1 Stroke Short, Conditional Korn Ferry Tour Card
Endicott Leads, Kang Sung-hoon and Noh Seung-yeol Withdraw

‘2023 Korean Tour Player of the Year’ Ham Jeong-woo narrowly missed out on a full Korn Ferry Tour card.

On the 18th (local time), Ham Jeong-woo finished tied for 45th place (even-par 280) after a disappointing 2-over-par final round in the final stage of the PGA Tour Qualifying (Q) School at the TPC Sawgrass Dye Valley Course (par 70, 6,850 yards) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, USA. Falling short by one stroke, he settled for a partial Korn Ferry Tour status, which grants conditional entry to eight tournaments next year. The event, which offers PGA Tour cards for the 2024 season, featured 168 players. The top 5 (including ties) earn full status on the PGA Tour next year, while the top 40 gain entry to the Korn Ferry Tour, making it a crucial "Suneung" (college entrance exam) of golf.
