Jeonbuk Bank's 'Warm Winter Love Briquette Sharing' Volunteer Activity

Warmth Sharing Full of Care for Energy-Vulnerable Groups

Jeonbuk Bank (President Baek Jong-il) announced on the 18th that it conducted a 'Sharing Love Briquettes' volunteer service this year for vulnerable groups around the Naksujeong Military and Police Cemetery area in Gyodong, Jeonju City.

According to Jeonbuk Bank, this volunteer activity was held as part of the 'Warm Winter Relay' project. It was organized to help energy-vulnerable groups, such as elderly people living alone who face great difficulties in heating during winter due to high inflation, to spend a warm and healthy winter.

On the day of the event, about 30 people, including Labor Union Chairman Jung Won-ho, all union executives, and the 63rd batch of new employees, participated in the volunteer work. Despite the bad weather, they personally practiced neighborly love by delivering 3,000 briquettes and daily necessities to 10 households, including elderly people living alone recommended by the Jeonju Volunteer Center.

The 63rd batch of new employees said, "As new employees, it was a meaningful and fulfilling time to participate in social contribution activities together with our colleagues," and added, "We hope that those in need will spend this winter warmly without worrying about the cold."

Labor Union Chairman Jung Won-ho said, "Every year at the end of the year, we carry out the 'Warm Winter' project to share warmth with neighbors who are struggling during the winter," and added, "We will continue to strive to make Jeonbuk Bank’s warm sharing in the local community a source of strength for the people of Jeonbuk."

Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Bank fulfills its social responsibility as a regional bank by providing warm kits, kimchi-making support, and briquette sharing to vulnerable groups in the province.
