T&R Biofab Launches Dissolvable HA Beauty Film on Japan's Largest Home Shopping Channel

Regenerative medicine specialist T&R Biofab plans to enter Japan's global home shopping channel 'QVC' (QVC Japan, Inc.) in the second quarter of next year with its Melting HA Film product.


'QVC (Quality Value Convenience)' operates in seven countries including the United States (headquartered in Pennsylvania), Japan, the United Kingdom, Germany, China, France, and Italy. QVC JAPAN is Japan's largest TV home shopping channel, generating over 1 trillion KRW in annual sales, and is known for its highly stringent entry barriers.


T&R Biofab's Melting HA Film is a skincare beauty product applied to the face and other areas. It was developed by consolidating over 20 years of research by the developer in ultra-thin film manufacturing technology, tissue regeneration technology, and transdermal drug delivery technology.


This product is manufactured as an ultra-thin film composed only of active ingredients. It melts and disappears upon contact with the skin, delivering a high concentration and high content of active ingredients to the applied area, providing lifting, wrinkle improvement, skin soothing, whitening, and moisturizing effects.


A company representative explained, "After applying basic cosmetics such as essence, the film is simply attached to areas requiring intensive care (around the eyes, neck, forehead, etc.). Since the product immediately melts and disappears, it offers greater convenience compared to existing related products that require separately applying enclosed essence or disposal after use."


T&R Biofab plans to raise brand awareness starting with home shopping sales through this product and subsequently enter both domestic and international online and offline markets in Japan, Korea, and the United States, while also expanding its product portfolio. In particular, considering the tendency of younger consumers to seek more convenient shopping, the company intends to actively utilize online platform businesses to enhance consumer accessibility.
