Kia announced on the 18th that it held the in-house online game finals tournament at the Kia Vision Square in Yongin on the 16th.
The 'Dplus Kia Welcoming Day' event invited employees' families as well. It was held to promote the joy of collaboration in achieving common goals among members. The event was conducted together with Dplus Kia, the e-sports team sponsored by Kia.
Since last November, Kia held its first-ever in-house online game tournament. A total of 115 participants from 23 teams across Kia’s nationwide business sites took part, competing through preliminary and final rounds over a month.
The finals event held that day was broadcast live online. Employees who could not attend the event in person also watched the matches online.

At Kia’s Dplus Kia Welcoming Day, in addition to the in-house League of Legends final match, there were event matches and autograph sessions with the Dplus Kia players.
Following the 'Kia Tigers Welcoming Day' held earlier this year, which invited Kia Tigers players, Kia plans to prepare various employee participation events going forward.
A Kia official stated, "We plan to continue preparing various forms of participatory content to enhance employee satisfaction."
