Transbeverage Launches 'The Glen Grant Private Cask 2006 Vintage 2.0'

Premium liquor import and distribution specialist Transbeverage announced on the 18th that it will newly launch ‘The Glen Grant Private Cask 2006 Vintage 2.0,’ following the release of ‘The Glen Grant Private Cask 1.0’ in the first half of this year.

The Private Cask 2006 Vintage 2.0 is a single cask product matured for a total of 16 years from 2006 to 2023 in first-fill bourbon casks at cask strength. It boasts a high alcohol content as the original spirit is not diluted with water, and is made solely from the whisky drawn from a single cask, offering a distinctively deep and refined taste. With only 150 to 200 bottles produced per cask, it is highly rare. A total of nine casks have been allocated to Korea, each featuring four flavor notes including creamy, fruity, mineral, and grainy depending on the cask.

The nine casks allocated to Korea will be sold through offline stores such as Homeplus, E-Mart, Lotte Mart, Traders, and Lotte Department Store, as well as online stores including Joori Liquor Shop Bi, Winepix, and Wine & More. For this Private Cask 2006 Vintage 2.0, a personal event is held where customers can have phrases of their choice inscribed in Korean or English on the metal nameplate, bottom label, and certificate of authenticity for each cask.
