Hyundai Glovis announced on the 17th that it received the Green Management Award and the Safety Management Award at the 2023 Global Standard Management Awards hosted by the Korea Management Certification Institute. This marks the fifth consecutive year of winning both awards simultaneously.
These awards are given in 10 categories by evaluating management strategies and future value to strengthen corporate global competitiveness. The Green Management Award is given to companies that develop and implement eco-friendly management strategies, while the Safety Management Award is given to those that adopt and practice safety-focused management.
The company declared carbon neutrality by 2045 and reduces carbon emissions by installing energy efficiency improvement devices on operated vessels and using fuel-saving coatings. The use of hydrogen trucks is also part of the same approach.
