Recently, the housing market in Asan City, Chungnam Province, has been bustling. This is due to active population growth centered around attracting various advanced industrial complexes, raising expectations for an increase in real estate value.
According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's resident registration population statistics, as of the end of November this year, Asan City's population was recorded at a total of 343,978. This is an increase of 10,376 compared to the previous year. During this period, Asan was the only area in Chungcheongnam-do where the population increased by more than 10,000.
In particular, Dunpo-myeon and Tangjeong-myeon are expected to be promoted to towns next year due to the recent sharp influx of population. Both areas have surpassed the promotion condition of a population of 20,000, and the population is expected to increase further in the future. This is because numerous advanced industrial complexes are being established nearby.
In Dunpo-myeon, the Asan Technovalley Industrial Complex is being developed, along with projects such as the Dunpo Central Park urban development project and the Bay Valley Megacity construction. Additionally, in Tangjeong-myeon, new housing site developments and industrial complex constructions are actively underway, including the Asan Tangjeong District urban development project and Tangjeong DC2 general industrial complex.
Along with this, Asan City was designated as a display-specialized complex by the government last July. Accordingly, the Chungnam Display Advanced Strategic Industry Specialized Complex (SDC) plans to invest 325.8 billion KRW by 2027 to create an innovation cluster zone in Asan.
Through these various favorable factors, Asan City expects its population to increase further. Asan City plans to increase its population to 728,000 by 2040. Population growth is a decisive factor that increases housing demand, and the real estate value of Asan City is expected to rise further in the future.
