GS25 announced on the 15th that it has given away over 100 million products this year through its 'God Sale (GOD SALE)'.
God Sale is a giveaway event held from the 20th to the end of each month. Looking at the annual performance of God Sale, which started in February this year, a total of 618 product types were offered, averaging about 80 types per month. During the event period, over 12 million products were sold, and approximately 100 million products were provided through giveaways such as 1+1, 2+1, and additional gifts. God Sale is believed to have contributed to price stabilization by generating a price reduction effect of about 3 billion KRW.
GS25 also believes the event has been effective in increasing store sales. The average monthly event performance showed that sales increased by an average of about 173.3% during the event period.
This month, to mark the end of the year, the event will be held from the 16th to the end of the month with 130 product types, more than the usual number. Essential daily items such as beverages, snacks, general food products, and frozen foods are mainly offered as 1+1 deals.
Representative products include Yakult Grand 280 (5 types), Hot Six, Netflix Truffle Popcorn, Hetbahn Half Bowl 130G, Yours Bosomi Wet Tissues 20 sheets, CJ Delicious Soybean Pancake Mix 300G, Maxbon Original 70G, Bibigo 365 Dumplings 287G, all offered as 1+1 deals. Jeju Tangerines, Volcanic Ash Tangerines, Fresh Special City Strawberries 500G/pack, cherries, and Sanji Affectionate Apples are sold at special prices.
