AI-Equipped 'Notaebok' Released... Samsung Galaxy Book4 Series Unveiled

"We will open the era of AI (Artificial Intelligence) laptops."

On the 15th, Samsung Electronics unveiled the 'Galaxy Book4 Series,' featuring a new Intel processor and a Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch display. The series newly applies an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) that supports AI performance such as machine learning and deep learning to the processor, enabling the device itself to process AI information without the need for network or communication.

The 'AI Laptop' Era Fully Opens

The Galaxy Book4 Series is released in three models: 'Galaxy Book4 Ultra,' 'Galaxy Book4 Pro 360,' and 'Galaxy Book4 Pro.' It boasts a clearer touch display, expanded connectivity, and enhanced security compared to previous models.

Notae Moon, President of Samsung Electronics MX Division, said, "Our goal is to offer powerful features and connected experiences for a better daily life for consumers," adding, "Through new features including the touch display and open partnerships, we will open the 'AI laptop era' where users can freely experience technology at their fingertips."

The official domestic launch date for the Galaxy Book4 Series is January 2 next year. From that day, users can experience the devices at five Samsung Stores located in Gangnam, Cheongdam, Seocho, Daechi, Hongdae, and Bucheon Jungdong, with plans to expand experience zones nationwide to Samsung Stores, Hi-Mart, and Electronic Land.

The Galaxy Book4 Series is equipped with the new Intel Core Ultra processor. The newly applied NPU in the processor supports AI performance such as machine learning and deep learning, improving power efficiency and work speed throughout usage. Moreover, it smoothly implements various AI functions in over 100 currently serviced applications including gaming, video, and video editing, enhancing productivity.

The newly applied built-in graphics 'Intel Arc' in the processor provides improved performance for gaming and content creation. Especially, the Galaxy Book4 Ultra is equipped with the external graphics card for notebook PCs, the 'NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series,' supporting high-performance functions such as high-spec gaming and graphic work more smoothly.

Additionally, to protect users' sensitive data more strongly, the Galaxy Book Series is the first to separately install a physically separated 'Samsung Knox' security chipset. 'Samsung Knox' is added to the Galaxy Book security system, which was previously built through collaboration with Intel and Microsoft, providing even more robust security performance.

Tablet-like Familiarity... Applied High-Resolution Touch Display

Above all, this series boasts upgraded performance with a high-resolution Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch display. For the first time in the series, all three models feature touch displays. They provide familiar and intuitive user experiences such as zoom in, zoom out, and document scrolling, which users have experienced on smartphones and tablets, across the entire lineup.

The 3K-level high resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate support smooth and seamless viewing of clear screens. The display with Anti-Reflection reduces the burden of light reflection on the screen, and Vision Booster automatically adjusts color contrast and brightness according to the usage environment such as external sunlight brightness, providing a clear viewing experience anytime and anywhere.

Samsung Electronics applies new features that connect Galaxy Note PCs with smartphones and tablets as one to strengthen the Galaxy ecosystem in the 'Galaxy Book4 Series.'

New features will be sequentially supported, including 'Samsung Studio,' which allows users to continue editing videos started on smartphones or tablets on the PC; 'Photo Remaster,' which converts old or low-resolution images into high resolution; and 'Auto Switch,' which automatically connects calls when connected to Galaxy Buds2 Pro during work.

Existing features are also provided, such as 'Quick Share' for easy file sharing between Galaxy devices, 'Second Screen' to use a tablet as a dual monitor, and 'Multi Control' to use the PC's keyboard and mouse on smartphones and tablets.
