Dongmyeong University, K-Taekwondo Performance Captivates Ahead of LG Electronics Researchers

Taekwondo Gymnastics, Poomsae, Breaking, Various Performances

University students visited a company to perform a Taekwondo show.

Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) announced on the 14th that, at the invitation of LG Electronics H&A Division's Component Solutions Business Unit, they showcased a Taekwondo demonstration in front of about 550 researchers and others in Changwon, Gyeongnam on the 12th.

Under the guidance of Professor Won Hyeong-jin from the university's K-sports Taekwondo Department, 12 students performed various acts including Taekwondo gymnastics, Taekwondo poomsae, and breaking techniques.

Senior Researcher Kim Jun-hee of LG Electronics said he was moved to see Dongmyung University's Taekwondo performance in person, which he had only seen in the media before.

Professor Won Hyeong-jin remarked, "LG is the first major corporation to host a Taekwondo performance."
