The Korea Economic Association announced that Vice Chairman Kim Chang-beom met with Bandar Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia, on the 14th at the Four Seasons Hotel in Gwanghwamun, Jongno-gu, Seoul.

Vice Chairman Kim, along with business leaders, discussed economic cooperation measures between the two countries to achieve Saudi Arabia's 'Vision 2030' with Minister Al-Khorayef.


Vision 2030 is a national economic reform project worth approximately 1,550 trillion won, led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The NEOM City project, which involves an investment of about 650 trillion won, is also part of the Vision 2030 initiatives.

Minister Al-Khorayef met sequentially with business leaders including Koo Ja-eun, Chairman of LS Group (Seoul), Chung Ki-sun, Vice Chairman of HD Hyundai (Ulsan), and Jung Yeon-in, President of Doosan Enerbility (Changwon).
