The briefing session was attended by about 70 village residents, with County Governor O Do-chang, officials from the Korea LPG Pipeline Network Project Group, and other county officials explaining the project plan and major facility installation methods related to the LPG construction project, followed by a Q&A session.

So far, Yeongyang-gun has invested a total project cost of 22.8 billion KRW to complete the county-level LPG pipeline network supply project in July 2020, currently supplying LPG to about 2,500 households in the Yeongyang-eup area. Additionally, a village-level small storage tank supply project is underway, supplying LPG to about 650 households in 11 villages.

Governor O Do-chang stated, “Through this project, we expect a significant reduction in residents’ fuel cost burdens as well as improvements in safety and ease of use. We plan to continue and expand the LPG pipeline network supply project to enhance the energy welfare of our residents.”
