Eunpyeong-gu 'SNS Pabal-i' Emoticons Free Distribution... First-Come, First-Served 25,000 People

Seoul Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced that starting from 2 PM on the 15th, the ‘SNS Pabal-i’ emoticons will be distributed for free to the first 25,000 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pabal-i is a district character symbolizing the horse of Gupabal in Eunpyeong-gu, which was a postal relay station during the Joseon Dynasty. The ‘SNS Pabal-i’ emoticons use Pabal-i to enhance local awareness and foster friendly communication with residents.

There are a total of 16 types of ‘SNS Pabal-i’ emoticons. They include everyday conversation expressions such as ‘Fighting’, ‘Thank you’, and ‘See you again’, as well as emoticons for Christmas, Seollal (Lunar New Year) lucky bags, and more.

The emoticons are available to new subscribers of the ‘Eunpyeong Alim Talk’ channel. They can be downloaded by adding the ‘Eunpyeong Alim Talk’ channel on the KakaoTalk mobile app. The usage period is 30 days.

‘Eunpyeong Alim Talk’ is Eunpyeong-gu’s KakaoTalk channel that delivers valuable news about Eunpyeong every Wednesday.

District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung said, “I hope the ‘SNS Pabal-i’ emoticons will be used as a friendly communication channel to promote Eunpyeong. We will continue to develop various communication methods to get closer to our residents.”
