'Songpa Youth Artist Center' Year-End Program with Tree Making and Art Experience Abundant
Songpa-gu (District Mayor Seo Gang-seok) has prepared various performances and programs, including a youth artist contest exhibition and a year-end joint concert, ahead of the year-end. Instead of expensive year-end performances, it is recommended to enjoy free cultural arts in Songpa-gu.
First, this weekend, the year-end joint concert 'ImpactON' of the youth artist recital The Impact will be held at 'Seokchon Lake Atelier.' From August, you can meet young performers of various genres such as pansori, piri, vocal music, flute, and gayageum in a relay format all at once.
On the 16th, contrabass Kang Ji-na, piri Yoon Hyun-je, piano Jung Seo-eun, baritone Kim Woo-jin, piano Lee Yoon-jae, soprano Lee Eun-saem, and clarinet Choi Yoon-seok will perform together, and on the 17th, haegeum Kim Min-jung, piano Na Da-som, pansori Park Yoo-bin, piri Son Jeong-min, gayageum Im Jae-in, daegeum Kang Sung-woo, daegeum Kim Dong-guk, and flute Oh Ara will hold a joint performance.
Also, at 6 p.m. on the 23rd, a Christmas concert will be held. The group sound ‘Chasedae’ and the band ‘Soul delivery’ will perform, offering a warm year-end and Christmas atmosphere.
If you wish to attend the performances, you can make a reservation in advance through the Seoul Public Service Reservation System. For more details, you can check the Songpa-gu Office website notices, Seokchon Lake Atelier blog, Instagram, and more.
At the ‘Cultural Experiment Space Hosu,’ the emerging artist contest exhibition 'Palette Palette' is ongoing until December 31. It showcases works by two artists, ▲Park Seon-joo and ▲Kim Jin-a (Jina), who mainly work on digital drawing. The exhibition can be viewed without a separate reservation, and the operating hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
At the ‘Youth Artist Center,’ various experiential programs are also operated. Programs such as ‘Making a Christmas Tree,’ ‘A Cup of Memories,’ ‘Making My Own 3D Plant,’ ‘Making Stone Art,’ and ‘Photography Techniques Using Sunlight’ provide time to create, experience, and heal. For participation inquiries, contact the Songpa Youth Artist Center.
Seo Gang-seok, Mayor of Songpa-gu, said, “We have prepared various cultural and artistic contents to warm the cold winter as the year-end approaches,” and added, “We hope many couples, friends, and families come together to create joyful memories.”
