Fifty-seven cases were excluded from the criteria application as the full deposit could be returned through guarantee insurance or the highest priority repayment fund, and 65 cases were rejected due to failure to meet the criteria.

Among the 564 submitted cases, there were a total of 45 appeals, of which 22 cases were re-approved as Jeonse fraud victims or victims after additional confirmation of criteria fulfillment.

So far, the committee has finally approved a total of 9,786 cases (cumulative). The number of cases approved for urgent suspension of public and private auctions is 751 (cumulative). Tenants who have received a notice of non-recognition or have been recognized as Jeonse fraud victims may file an appeal. Even if the appeal is dismissed, relief can be sought through reapplication if circumstances change in the future.

Tenants experiencing difficulties due to Jeonse fraud can apply for victim recognition at the city or provincial office with jurisdiction over their residence. Those recognized as victims through the committee’s resolution can receive detailed guidance on support measures through the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) Jeonse Victim Support Center (in-person and phone) and its branches (in-person).
