Uljin-gun Awarded as an Excellent Institution for AI·IoT-Based Senior Health Management Project

Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, was selected as an excellent institution in the AI·IoT-based Senior Health Management Project in 2023, recognizing its contribution to promoting community health.

Uljin-gun Awarded as an Excellent Institution for AI·IoT-Based Senior Health Management Project Uljin-gun selected as an outstanding institution for the AI IoT-based senior health management project.

At the Digital Healthcare Performance Competition hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare on the 11th, Uljin-gun was among 10 institutions nationwide awarded for its health project that actively utilized the Mobile Public Health Information System (MPHIS) in promoting national health through the AI·IoT-based Senior Health Management Project.


Uljin-gun was selected for the AI·IoT-based Senior Health Management Project in 2021 and started the project in the second half of 2022. It provides non-face-to-face customized health management services by lending activity trackers, blood pressure monitors, blood glucose meters, scales, and AI speakers to seniors aged 65 and over who need health behavior improvement and own smartphones.


Additionally, a satisfaction survey conducted this year on the AI·IoT-based Senior Health Management Project participants showed a high satisfaction rate exceeding 92%, and the health management mission achievement rate reached 86%.


County Governor Son Byeong-bok stated, “We will continue to provide customized health management services to improve seniors’ self-health management abilities and manage chronic diseases.”
