Agreement Signed for Promoting Seafood Consumption and Mutual Development
Sajo Daelim announced on the 12th that it has donated 20 million KRW as a fund for the talent development project in Tongyeong-si, Gyeongnam Province, as part of its activities for mutual growth with the local community.

The fund donated by Sajo Daelim will be used as a resource for developing outstanding local talents who can contribute to the economic development of Tongyeong-si. Previously, Sajo Daelim also signed a business agreement to promote the consumption of Tongyeong seafood and mutual growth. Accordingly, new products using Tongyeong oysters, 'Tongyeong Gulgrangttaeng' and 'Tongyeong Gulgyoja,' were launched.
Sajo Daelim is putting great effort into various social contribution activities to fulfill its corporate social responsibility. In 2021, it donated products worth 500 million KRW to local senior welfare centers and food banks. Last year, it delivered relief supplies worth a total of 600 million KRW to support recovery from disasters such as the East Coast wildfires in March and the metropolitan area floods in May. This year, in July, the group delivered more than 27,000 company products, including tuna and canned ham, worth a total of 150 million KRW to flood-affected areas nationwide due to heavy rains. Through partner organizations such as the Social Welfare Council and the Milal Welfare Foundation, it has carried out donations and delivery of goods worth a total of 400 million KRW by November.
A representative of Sajo Daelim said, "We feel a great sense of fulfillment to be able to participate in nurturing talents who will be responsible for the future of Tongyeong-si through this local talent development fund donation," adding, "We will continue to strive to carry out various social contribution activities to help those in need throughout society."
