Nowon District Mayor Oh Seung-rok Attends Nowon Education Welfare Foundation Honors Day Event

On the 11th at 5 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, Seoul, attended the Nowon Education Welfare Foundation Honors Day event held in the main auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Nowon District Office.

The Nowon Education Welfare Foundation holds Honors Day annually to invite sponsoring companies and organizations that have been practicing donation and sharing for neighbors in need in Nowon, and presents them with plaques of appreciation.

The event was attended by about 150 people, including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, members of the National Assembly, city council members, 100 sponsoring companies and organizations, 30 individual sponsors, and guests. The program proceeded in the order of a pre-performance by the Nowon District Youth Orchestra, opening declaration, national anthem, introduction of guests, 2023 project video, greetings, and awarding of commendations.

The honorees for sharing contributions on this day included a total of eight recipients: four excellent companies that have sponsored for more than three years and four outstanding regular sponsors.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, "I sincerely thank the companies and individual sponsors who have consistently conveyed warm hearts every year," and added, "We will continue to strive to establish a culture of coexistence and sharing in the community."
