A representative of Kim's agency, Summit Management, stated on the 11th, "We have filed a complaint with the Gangnam Police Station on defamation charges because there were false statements made by Lim during an appearance on the YouTube channel 'Garo Sero Research Institute' (Gaseyeon)."

Lim appeared on Gaseyeon on the 7th and claimed that, in addition to the controversial drinking party, he was habitually assaulted by Kim.

Kim Ha-seong, who is active in Major League Baseball (MLB) in the United States, submitted a complaint to the police, stating that after a physical altercation with Lim while drinking at a bar in Gangnam, Seoul in 2021, Lim continuously demanded settlement money. Kim claimed that even after Lim received a settlement amounting to 400 million won, he kept demanding money, and Kim filed the complaint to prevent further damage.

After the news of Kim's lawsuit became known, Lim claimed in a broadcast interview that he was "unilaterally and continuously assaulted by Kim Ha-seong." Subsequently, Kim's side denied the allegations, stating that "the claims of unilateral and habitual assault are completely untrue," turning the case into a battle over the truth.

The police investigated Kim as a complainant on the 6th and are currently verifying the facts by summoning people around Kim as witnesses.
