Jeonnam Gokseong-gun Future Education Foundation (Chairman Lee Sang-cheol) announced that it successfully held the "Youth Cultural Career Concert in Search of Dreams" at the Gokseong Culture and Sports Center on the 8th.
The Cultural Career Concert was planned to provide opportunities for hope, challenge, and future planning regarding careers to local 3rd-year middle school and 3rd-year high school students. The concert was jointly organized by (Corporation) Coconut, Jeonnam Today, and the Gokseong Branch of the Korea Journalists Association, with about 400 participants including youth, parents, teachers, and local residents.
Before the concert, a campaign to prevent school violence was conducted.
Leading the campaign were Gokseong County Governor Lee Sang-cheol, Yoon Young-gyu, Chairman of the Gokseong County Council, officials from the Gokseong Office of Education, Gokseong Police Station, and the Gokseong Branch of the Korea Journalists Association (Chairman Jo Nam-jae), raising awareness among youth about the seriousness of school violence and promoting prevention methods.
The main event included the true story play "Beautiful Choice" and a career lecture by Dr. Kim Jin-sung.
Through activities such as mind recreation, time was provided to offer youth new experiences and inspiration regarding their careers.
Additionally, various cultural performances prepared directly by students, such as the Indian Tatad Dance and the American One More Time Dance, gave attending youth the opportunity to deeply think about and explore their futures and career paths.
A youth who visited the concert hall said, “It was impressive to see peers performing dances, songs, and plays on stage, pursuing their dreams and finding their career paths.
Through this, it was a meaningful time to deeply reflect on my own future.”
A foundation official stated, “We hope this concert became a precious time for youth to have hope regarding their careers. We will continue to support youth dreams and provide various career programs so they can design their own futures.”
