Changwon Special City Women's Association Holds Moving Year-End Report Meeting and Concludes Volunteer Work Changwon City Women's Association held a one-year volunteer report meeting.

This event was organized to report on the achievements of the past year and to seek ways to revitalize women's organizations in the coming year. It served as an opportunity to boost the morale of members who worked hard throughout the year, as well as to strengthen the unity of the Women's Association through information exchange and friendship among the organizations.

The Changwon City Women's Association, operated jointly by 10 women's organizations in Changwon Special City, has actively carried out activities such as leadership enhancement workshops for female leaders, friendly exchange events with the Goheung County Women's Association, a sister city, and events commemorating Gender Equality Week to promote women's rights and capacity building.

Additionally, they have passionately engaged in volunteer activities for the local community, including a monthly side dish support project for low-income families and a year-end kimchi sharing event of love.

In particular, this year, they were highly praised for their efforts to create a family-friendly social atmosphere by operating various family experience events at the Masan Chrysanthemum Festival, a key project of Changwon City, and delivering congratulatory gifts to families with multiple children using the proceeds.

Kang Young-im, President of the Women's Association, said, “We will actively discover and promote various projects that contribute to the advancement of women's rights and the development of the local community, and I hope that today’s event will be an opportunity for women leaders to grow into respected figures in the community.”

Mayor Hong said, “I am very grateful that the Women's Association is carrying out various volunteer activities for the community with the delicacy and warmth that highlight women's strengths,” and added, “Changwon Special City will also create a strong city that facilitates women's social participation and ensures convenience and safety for women.”
