Ildong Pharmaceutical announced on the 11th that it has obtained the 'Consumer Centered Management (CCM)' certification, which is overseen by the Korea Consumer Agency and certified by the Fair Trade Commission.
Consumer Centered Management is a system that evaluates and certifies whether a company organizes its business and activities from the consumer's perspective and pursues continuous improvement in its management activities. It aims to create a virtuous market cycle by enhancing awareness of consumer rights, strengthening corporate competitiveness, fostering coexistence between consumers and companies, and reducing social costs.
Ildong Pharmaceutical has established management policies reflecting consumer values such as quality, with the commitment of its executives and participation of its members, and has implemented detailed strategies and guidelines related to CCM. Additionally, it appointed a Chief Customer Officer (CCO) and set up a dedicated organization to strengthen expertise and build an organic system that links business activities to consumer value.
Along with this, the company is focusing on enhancing the execution and effectiveness of CCM through ▲ operation of VOC (Voice Of Customer) related channels and manuals ▲ consumer protection and information provision activities ▲ monitoring, problem improvement, and prevention activities ▲ operation of education and participation programs for members ▲ setting performance management indicators (KPI).
An official from Ildong Pharmaceutical stated, "Consumer value is the most important factor for a company to achieve growth, development, and sustainability," adding, "We plan to continuously seek ways to listen to customers' voices and communicate together."
