On the 8th, Environmental Facilities Management Corporation (EMC) visited Yeongyang-gun to practice neighborly love for the underprivileged in the area by donating 2 million KRW to the Yeongyang-gun Community Security Council (co-chairmen O Do-chang and Kim Gil-dong) for neighbors in need, and 3 million KRW in scholarships to the Yeongyang-gun Talent Development Scholarship Foundation.

At the donation ceremony, Jeong Won-ik, the head of the headquarters, said, “We are grateful to Yeongyang-gun for providing an opportunity every year for the company to fulfill its duties while continuing environmental projects with the local community. We hope that our small contribution will be well delivered to the neighbors in need and the students of Yeongyang-gun and be of some help.”
County Governor O Do-chang expressed his gratitude, saying, “We thank Environmental Facilities Management Corporation for always striving for the local community even in difficult and challenging times. The donated funds entrusted to us will be properly delivered to places in need to become a source of hope.”
Environmental Facilities Management Corporation is a leading domestic environmental company focusing on public wastewater operation and waste incineration and landfill projects, currently managing the operation of public wastewater treatment facilities in Yeongyang-gun.
Last year as well, Environmental Facilities Management Corporation donated 3 million KRW for Yeongyang-gun Talent Development Scholarships and 2 million KRW for helping underprivileged neighbors, continuing steady sharing activities for vulnerable groups in the region.
