Gwangju Transportation Corporation (President Jo Ik-moon) contributed its talents to improve the living environment of underprivileged households, bringing warmth to the local community.
According to Gwangju Transportation Corporation on the 11th, more than 20 employees from the Technical Operations Department recently visited the home of a visually impaired family living in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, to carry out a "talent-sharing housing environment improvement activity."
They replaced old lighting, electrical switches, and heating outlets with new wiring facilities, installed a new sink to replace the old one, and carefully carried out wallpaper and flooring replacement.
An official from the corporation said, "We heard about the difficulties faced by a visually impaired family preparing for the harsh winter from the Gwangju City Visually Impaired Welfare Center and volunteered to help. We are happy and grateful to be able to assist the underprivileged with the technical skills the corporation possesses."
