New Bus Stops Established at Sinchanggyo, Sinhwacho, and Choan Apartment

Dobong-gu (District Mayor Oh Eon-seok) announced that from December 11, the village bus Gangbuk05 will be extended to Chang3-dong.

Accordingly, Dobong-gu has established two new village bus stops at Sinchanggyo and Sinhwa Elementary School·Choan Apartment. With the extended Gangbuk05 route, it will be easier to travel to Mia Sageori Station on Subway Line 4, as well as conveniently access nearby amenities.

Dobong-gu had continuously discussed the extension of the village bus Gangbuk05 with Gangbuk-gu and transportation companies to improve transportation convenience in Chang3-dong, an area that had limited public transportation benefits. However, the plan was repeatedly canceled due to concerns about children's safety and opposition from stakeholders.

However, since the inauguration of Mayor Oh Eon-seok in July 2022, the long-standing grievances began to find a solution as the demands of local residents were actively accepted during the 'Dialogue with Chang3-dong Residents.' Dobong-gu took charge of communication between Seoul City, city buses, and village bus operators, striving to reach a compromise, which finally led to the realization of the extension of the village bus Gangbuk05 to Chang3-dong.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “I am very pleased that the residents of Chang3-dong will enjoy improved transportation convenience with the extension of Gangbuk05,” and added, “Dobong-gu will continue to do its best to eliminate public transportation blind spots.”
