On the 6th (local time), according to CNN and others in the U.S., the Parma Court in Ohio sentenced Rosemary Hain (39), a mother of four, to one month in prison and two months of work at a fast-food restaurant.
Earlier, Hain was tried on charges of throwing a plate of food at Emily Russell (26), a manager, after visiting the famous franchise 'Chipotle Mexican Grill' on September 5.
After the incident, Hain was arrested by the police and was expected to be sentenced to three months in prison with a 90-day probation period.
However, on the day of sentencing, Judge Timothy Gilmore, who was in charge of the case, suggested, "Instead of spending time in jail, would you reflect on the victim's position?" and Hain accepted this.
Accordingly, Judge Gilmore sentenced her to 30 days in prison and 60 days of work at the fast-food restaurant.
Foreign media reported, "The victim, Russell, is also satisfied with the judge's sentence and stated that 'the perpetrator received exactly what she deserved,'" adding, "Hain is currently looking for a fast-food restaurant where she can work 20 hours a week."

At the time of the incident, Hain shouted at a 17-year-old employee, complaining that the food was wrong. To protect the employee, Manager Russell intervened in the conversation and provided the food again according to Hain's request. However, after receiving the food again, Hain approached Russell and threw the plate of food at her face.
This scene was also a hot topic on social media (SNS), captured by a passerby who visited the restaurant at the time.
According to foreign media, Russell suffered burns on her face and had food on her head but continued to work for another four hours. Afterwards, Russell quit her job due to the shock.
