Lotte Mart announced on the 7th that it will hold a half-price discount event until the 10th to reduce consumers' dining-out expenses.

Lotte Mart will sell the newly launched ‘Crunchy Consomm? Chicken’ at half price. Discount benefits are provided to L.Point members who pay with event cards (Lotte, KB Kookmin, BC, Shinhan cards), and it is sold at about half the regular price.

Crunchy Consomm? Chicken is a product that adds consomm? seasoning, directly developed by the Food Innovation Center (FIC), to Lotte Mart’s representative chicken product, ‘Big Chicken.’ It uses No. 10 refrigerated chicken, offering a generous portion, and combines consomm? butter-flavored seasoning to fully enjoy the ‘sweet and salty’ taste. For this half-price event, Lotte Mart secured about 40,000 chickens in advance, which is approximately 50% more than the usual quantity for chicken discount events, enhancing cost competitiveness.

Until the 13th, a 1,000 won discount is also offered on 12 frozen fruit and vegetable items. Representative products include domestic frozen strawberries (1kg/bag) and frozen peaches (700g/bag, from Greece) sold at 8,990 won, and frozen Peruvian blueberries (1.2kg/bag) sold at 11,900 won. The ARDO frozen organic vegetable mix (600g/bag), consisting of four types of Belgian organic cauliflower, peas, green beans, and carrots, is also offered at 4,990 won.

A Lotte Mart official said, "We developed Crunchy Consomm? Chicken and prepared this half-price event to reduce dining-out expenses while providing taste and variety comparable to chicken specialty stores, so we ask for your great interest," adding, "We will continue to introduce products that combine reasonable prices with taste and quality to satisfy customers."
