Gyeonggi Province has launched a portal site for single-person households.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 7th that it opened the "Gyeonggi Province Single-Person Household Portal (https://www.gg.go.kr/1ingg)," where policies for single-person households and participation programs by city and county can be viewed at a glance.
The newly established portal allows users to search for and apply to participation programs by region, category, and age group, and provides access to various information such as ▲Gyeonggi Province Single-Person Household Implementation Plan ▲Safe Hospital Companion for Single-Person Households ▲Safety Package for Women Living Alone ▲Single-Person Household Statistics ▲Related Organizations.
Gyeonggi Province created this portal in accordance with the "1st Five-Year Basic Plan for Supporting Single-Person Households in Gyeonggi Province."
Yoon Young-mi, Director of the Women's and Family Affairs Bureau of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The number of single-person households in the province has exceeded 1.63 million, accounting for 30.2% of all households, and is rapidly increasing. We expect that through the newly established single-person household portal, single-person households will more easily obtain information about related policies and improve their quality of life."
