Sandan Gong Labor and Management, Volunteer Activity Sharing Love Briquettes

Donation of 10,000 Briquettes to Energy-Vulnerable Groups in Winter

Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (Chairman Lee Sang-hoon) and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Labor Union (Chairman Lee Jung-moon) announced that they carried out briquette sharing volunteer activities for vulnerable groups by visiting the Singi-dong area in Dong-gu, Daegu on the 6th to mark the end of the year.


The labor and management of Korea Industrial Complex Corporation purchased and donated 10,000 briquettes for local energy-vulnerable groups, and among them, 2,000 briquettes were delivered directly by executives and employees. On this day, about 30 volunteers from the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation delivered not only briquettes but also groceries such as rice purchased from traditional markets.

Korea Industrial Complex Corporation is conducting various year-end sharing activities involving tenant companies of industrial complexes at its headquarters in Daegu as well as 13 regional headquarters and branch offices nationwide.


Lee Sang-hoon, Chairman of Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, said, "We prepared this activity to provide a small help to the local energy-vulnerable groups during the winter season," adding, "We will continue to fulfill the social responsibility of public institutions and strive to practice a culture of sharing targeting industrial complexes and local communities."


Lee Jung-moon, Chairman of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Labor Union, also said, "We will communicate with the local community through various volunteer activities that can care for neighbors in blind spots."
