Cheongsong-gun Produces SNS Promotional Video for Korea's Representative 'Cheongsong Apple' in Overseas Markets

Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, has produced a promotional video for export to ensure a more stable foothold in overseas markets for Cheongsong apples and apple juice, and has actively promoted it.

To this end, the county has been carrying out related services, holding a kickoff meeting in August, a mid-term report meeting in November, and a final report meeting on December 1.


The final report meeting was held with the attendance of County Governor Yoon Kyung-hee, key department heads, the representative of the Cheongsong Apple Distribution Center, service providers, and other related personnel, where the final promotional video reflecting various opinions presented so far was introduced.


The video was created as an apple recipe video that can be universally accepted worldwide, inspired by the high interest in Korean Wave culture overseas and the high usage of SNS among the people of Indonesia and the Philippines, the current export countries of Cheongsong apples, and it will be showcased on easily accessible SNS platforms.


In particular, the short typography video that strongly conveys the characteristics of "Cheongsong apples" and the recipe video that anyone can easily follow are expected to attract global attention, increase overseas consumer awareness of Cheongsong apples, and have a tangible effect on entering overseas markets.


Additionally, during the successful 17th Cheongsong Apple Festival (November 1 to November 5), which attracted many tourists, Cheongsong-gun invited a famous Filipino influencer to create various content and upload it to local YouTube channels in the Philippines, demonstrating new and diverse attempts.


Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, “By promoting recipe videos using Cheongsong apples, Korea’s representative apples, on SNS, we plan to continuously pursue various export marketing strategies that can easily expose them to many people,” adding, “We will do our best to widely promote the value of Cheongsong apples overseas and secure a stable export market.”
