Hampyeong-gun 'Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign' Fundraising for Donations

Target Amount of 360 Million Won by January 31 Next Year

Hampyeong-gun is set to actively promote the ‘Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign’ that will warm the cold winter during the year-end and New Year season.

According to the county on the 6th, under the theme “Making Myself Valuable Through Donation, Making Hampyeong Valuable Through Donation,” the ‘Hope 2024 Sharing Campaign’ fundraising activities will be carried out from the 1st of this month until January 31st of next year (62 days).

This year, Hampyeong-gun’s target amount is 360 million KRW.

The funds raised will be used as resources for various welfare projects necessary to provide welfare services such as support for vulnerable groups and social welfare facilities.

On the first day of the campaign, the 1st, members of the Hope Busking group, including instructor Jeong Mi-young from the Hampyeong-gun Guitar Association, donated 2 million KRW earned from busking at this year’s Gukhyangdaejeon, marking the start of this sharing campaign.

Also, Hampyeong-eup Church (Pastor Park Kwang-seok) donated 890kg of white rice, and the Hampyeong branch of the Korea Hanwoo Association donated 1,000 packs of Hanwoo beef soup (600ml) to the county, continuing the warm-hearted donations.

County Governor Lee Sang-ik said, “As we approach the year-end and New Year, it is a time when warm attention and love for neighbors in need are more urgent than ever,” and added, “We ask for your great interest and participation in this campaign.”
