Shinhan Investment Corp. Establishes 'UX Writing Guide' for Clear and Simple Language

Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 5th that it has independently established a 'UX writing guide' tailored to customers' perspectives for the language used within its mobile trading system (MTS) Shinhan Alpha.


The UX writing guide is a set of writing principles organized in easy-to-understand language, as if customers were receiving explanations directly from experts at a branch when using the MTS Shinhan Alpha. Reflecting customers' feedback that investment terminology is difficult, the guide focuses on improving usability and includes a 'customer-centric principle' that prioritizes customers' interests and expresses content from the customer's point of view. Through this, it provides practical writing methods so that any employee can implement customer-oriented services. This has been applied since the release of MTS Shinhan Alpha 3.0 in May.


Meanwhile, Shinhan Investment Corp. launched MTS Shinhan Alpha 3.0 last May. They conducted a focused analysis of customer needs gathered through various channels such as VOC (Voice of Customer), surveys, advisory group interviews, and user research, leading to usability improvements and design revamps.


Kim Jang-woo, Head of the Digital Group at Shinhan Investment Corp., stated, "With the establishment of the UX writing guide, Shinhan Investment Corp. now possesses a clear and easy language manual for customers," adding, "We will continue to carry out customer-centered UX writing to create a customer-friendly financial service platform."
