Former National Intelligence Service Director Park Ji-won claimed on the 5th that Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon was not included in the cabinet reshuffle the previous day, saying, "Because he was not included in the reshuffle, he can now campaign using the national budget," and insisted, "He must be caught."

Regarding this, Park appeared on the YouTube channel 'Kim Eo-jun's Humility is Difficult News Factory' on the same day and said, "Minister Han will run for his constituency. He is campaigning right now. Why is he campaigning with the national budget, with my taxes? I campaign with my own money."

The day before, President Yoon Seok-yeol carried out a cabinet reshuffle replacing six ministers, including the Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Minister of Strategy and Finance, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Minister of Oceans and Fisheries, Minister of SMEs and Startups, and Minister of Patriots and Veterans Affairs. Minister Han, who had attracted attention due to rumors of running in the general election, was not included.

Former Director Park predicted that Minister Han would succeed Kim Ki-hyun as the leader of the People Power Party. Park said, "Innovation Committee Chairman In Yo-han raised hopes, but it ended as expected. He drew a tiger, but it ended up as a mouse's tail," and added, "Then someone has to take responsibility for this. Won't Kim Ki-hyun boil with anger around the end of the year or early next year?"
