Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Held at Dongdaemun-gu Office Plaza on the 4th at 5:30 PM
Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor Ilhyung Lee) held the 2023 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 PM on the 4th in the plaza of Dongdaemun-gu Office.
The district installed a large Christmas tree to pray for the well-being and happiness of its residents and to share the joy of the upcoming Christmas and New Year.
The event was attended by Ilhyung Lee, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, Taein Lee, Chairperson of the Dongdaemun-gu Council, along with several council members and district officials.
The tree, measuring 7 meters in height and 3 meters in width, will remain lit from 5 PM to 10 PM until January 26 of next year.
Mayor Ilhyung Lee, who participated in the lighting ceremony, said, “I hope the brightly lit large tree will bring comfort and joy to our residents. I wish everyone a happy and fulfilling 2024 after finishing the remaining month of 2023 well, and we will continue to move forward vigorously for the residents next year.”
