Village bus running in Jinhae, Changwon City hits roadside tree 'thud'... 6 people with minor and moderate injuries

In Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongnam, a village bus collided with a roadside tree while driving, injuring six people with serious to moderate injuries.

According to the Changwon Fire Headquarters, at around 11:22 a.m. on the 4th, a village bus driving near Nammun-dong in Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si, collided with a roadside tree.

The bus was traveling from a nearby apartment complex toward Ungcheon Middle School when it took a curve, crossed the center line, and struck a roadside tree on the opposite side.

At the time of the accident, there were six people on the bus, including a driver in his 50s and five passengers. The front glass of the bus was damaged in the accident, and one passenger in their 70s suffered a fractured right femur and was seriously injured.

The driver and the remaining passengers sustained minor injuries to their waist, elbows, knees, and wrists.

The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident by questioning the bus driver and witnesses.
