Entertainment company Blade Ent, which is promoting the STO business, is showing strong performance. This is interpreted as being influenced by expectations for the opening of the token securities issuance (STO) trading market.
As of 10:40 AM on the 4th, Blade Ent was traded at 1,238 won, up from 109 won (9.65%) on the previous trading day. Galaxia SM, an STO-related stock, hit the upper limit, and Galaxia Money Tree surged 26.67%.
Blade Ent plans to launch various token securities, including distribution rights for movies and dramas it owns, through its subsidiary Blade STO. It is currently participating in the bank STO consortium formed by domestic banks such as NH Nonghyup Bank.
In addition, it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kiwoom Securities for the STO business. The two companies plan to continuously make efforts to activate the STO-related industry by carrying out collaborative projects combining finance and blockchain, discovering new businesses for joint business cooperation.
Meanwhile, the Korea Exchange recently applied to the Financial Services Commission for designation as an innovative financial service to open the STO distribution market. Upon final approval, it will be possible to trade fractional investment products on the market as investment contract securities and non-monetary trust beneficiary certificates.
