Galaxia Next, a leading domestic NFT (Non-Fungible Token) platform company, announced on the 4th that it will participate as an NFT issuer in the '63 Seoul Artists NFT Exhibition - ANOTHER STAGE DEBUT' organized by the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture.
Through this exhibition, visitors can see NFTs from artists who were selected for NFT issuance support last year as well as the 33 artists selected this year. Last year, 30 artists were selected, including actor Park Jeong-ja, Nam Myeong-ryeol, contemporary dancer Cha Jin-yeop, and bassist Yeon Gwang-cheol. This year's selected artists include actor Joo Ho-sung, Gyeonggi minyo singer Lee Hee-moon, and tenor Kim Min-seok.
The company stated, "With the support of the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, we have digitized various moments that could not be seen on stage by 63 representative performing artists of Korea," adding, "It is very meaningful that visitors can view these rare and valuable NFT works."
Galaxia Next is participating for the second consecutive year as a collaborative partner of the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture in the 'Basic Arts Field Artist NFT Launch Project.' They support the creation, issuance, and distribution of artists' NFT works on the NFT market platform 'Metagalaxia.'
A company representative said, "Through collaboration with the Seoul Foundation for Arts and Culture, we have expanded artists' activities into the new digital art field of NFTs," and added, "We will continue to actively participate in new art support models."
Meanwhile, the '63 Seoul Artists NFT Exhibition - ANOTHER STAGE DEBUT' will be held free of charge at Sehwa Art Museum from the 12th of this month until January 5th of next year. The participating artists' NFT works can be purchased on Metagalaxia.
