Welcome Savings Bank announced on the 4th that it will launch the ‘Welbang LIKIT Savings’ jointly with Lotte Card, offering a maximum annual interest rate of 14%.
‘Welbang LIKIT Savings’ is a 12-month maturity savings product that allows flexible monthly deposits up to 300,000 KRW. The basic interest rate is 2.0% per annum (before tax), and customers can receive a preferential interest rate of up to 12.0 percentage points upon meeting certain conditions.
The preferential interest rates are as follows: ▲designating the Lotte Card payment account as a Welcome Savings Bank deposit and withdrawal account and making payments for more than 3 months (2%p), ▲accumulated usage of the ‘LOCA LIKIT Card’ exceeding 500,000 KRW (7%p), ▲automatic payment of telecommunications bills, utility bills, and apartment management fees for more than 3 months using the LOCA LIKIT Card (3%p). The 2nd and 3rd preferential interest rate conditions are offered to customers who have no Lotte personal credit card usage in the 6 months prior to subscribing to the savings product.
‘Welbang LIKIT Savings’ can be subscribed to non-face-to-face via the Welcome Digital Bank application (app) and is limited to 10,000 accounts.
