KakaoBank is implementing a special guarantee worth 10 billion KRW for small business owners in collaboration with the Gwangju Credit Guarantee Foundation. On the 4th, KakaoBank announced the launch of a special guarantee loan product called the 'Gwangju Special Guarantee Loan.'
The support target is individual business owners located in Gwangju Metropolitan City with a personal credit score of 595 or higher (based on NICE credit score). Applicants can apply non-face-to-face through the KakaoBank application (app) or visit the Credit Guarantee Foundation branch to obtain a guarantee certificate and then apply through the KakaoBank app.
Previously, KakaoBank contributed a total of 3 billion KRW through agreements with six regional credit guarantee foundations to implement a 50 billion KRW scale win-win guarantee for small business owners.
A KakaoBank official stated, "We have implemented a special guarantee with the Gwangju Credit Guarantee Foundation to ease the financial burden on small business owners during the year-end and New Year when demand for funds increases," adding, "We will continue to provide financial support to individual business owners and contribute to revitalizing the local economy."
